Buddha is claimed to have said, "The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart."

If you are already fascinated by medical science and the function of that amazing pump we call our heart, and crave to understand it in more detail, why not sign up for a Cardiology course?

You will study, in depth, topics such as anatomy, physiology, echocardiography and cardiac pharmacology. You will be taught about the lymphatic and blood systems in our bodies as well as how all of the major organs function. There will be training in administering the drugs that help treat the major cardiovascular diseases and the correct use of ECG machines. You will also be shown the principles of critical decision-making and how to quickly interpret test results and patient symptoms.

Correct training is vital as the lives of patients will depend upon your knowledge and ability to select the correct medicine or course of action even when under extreme pressure.

On completion of your Cardiology course, you could consider a career as a:

  • Hospital Doctor
  • Cardiology Technician
  • Anatomy Lecturer
  • Paramedic
  • Crash Team Member
